STEVEN LIM KEE SENG
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Steven Lim Kee Seng has been Chief Executive Officer of TIME Engineering Berhad (“TIME”)
since his appointment on 18 May 2009.
Lim had initially served TIME as General Manager, Corporate Development Division from 2005
to 2008. During his tenure, he oversaw five departments namely Corporate Strategy, Corporate
Planning, Business Development, International Business, and Investor Relations.
Prior to joining TIME, Lim was Head of Strategy at Multimedia Development Corporation
(“MDeC”), a government agency responsible for the development of the Multimedia Super
Corridor.
At MDeC, he played an instrumental role in spearheading integrated governmental projects both
to improve efficiency within the public service and to enhance service delivery to the public. A
key programme under his charge was the Malaysia E-Commerce Masterplan, which seeks to
connect citizens and businesses through the use of IT.
Lim has extensive knowledge of more than 20 years in the IT sector locally and abroad namely
in business development, marketing and sales as well as technical areas. In addition, he is well
versed in planning, design and implementation of information systems initiatives globally, having
worked in Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia and the United States of America.
Lim holds a Master of Business Administration from Edith Cowan University, Australia and a
Diploma in Electronics Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore.
