Company History

TIME began modestly on 12 October 1970 as a small trading company marketing welding products. Over the years, it came a long way from making steady headway into the era of high technology to become a specialist engineering-based company. Its principal activities were engineering services, project management, mechanical and electrical power project engineering, trading industrial and engineering products, metal working and galvanising operations and manufacture and sale switchgear. TIME’s forward-looking approach to new technologies and innovation is closely aligned with the country’s thrust towards industrialisation and technology development.

After more than a quarter of a century, the Company is raring for even greater challenges. It will continue its leading role among the country’s infrastructural developers and service providers to transform TIME into a consumer-based company, offering power and advanced telecommunications. Throughout commerce and industry, the convergence of media and telecommunications is being recognised as the key ingredient of successful business.

TIME Engineering today has achieved the status of ICT flagship for UEM Group of Companies. With all these at hand, TIME Engineering is competent and primed for the future and strives for excellence ahead with its peers in the ICT progression and beyond.
